Born on 16-03-1951 at Udayamperoor in Ernakulam District. Obtained Law degree from Government Law College, Ernakulam. Practised Civil and Criminal Law. Joined the Judicial service in 1982. Served as Munsiff-Magistrate, Pattambi, Munsiff, Vaikom; Sub Judge, Kasargode, Hosdurg, Kozhikode and Vadakara.  Appointed as District Judge in 1992. Worked as M.A.C.T., Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram; Enquiry Commissioner and Special Judge, Thiruvananthapuram, Additional District Judge, Kozhikode and Alappuzha; Member Secretary, Kerala State Legal Services Authority; District Judge, Pathanamthitta and Thodupuzha and Law Secretary to Government since August, 2006. Elected as President of the Kerala Judicial Officers Association, 2004-06. Attended National and International Seminars representing the State. Sworn-in as Additional Judge of High Court of Kerala on 06-02-2009. Appointed as Permanent Judge of the High Court of Kerala with effect from 07-12-2011.
