Born at Kozhikode on 26-10-1949. Graduated in Zoology from Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode, in the year 1970.
Graduated in Law from the Government Law College, Kozhikode in the year 1973 and enrolled during the same year.

Appointed as Munsiff on 26-04-1982 and worked as such at Thalassery, Kuthuparamba and Thaliparamba.
Promoted as Sub Judge and worked as Addl.Sub Judge at Palakkad and Thalassery, as Prl.Sub Judge at Thalassery and as Sub Judge at Payyannur.

Promoted as District Judge on 25-05-1991 and worked as MACT at Thalassery, Kottayam, Ottappalam, and Irinjalakuda, as Addl.District Judge at Palakkad and as District Judge at Alappuzha, Manjeri, Thrissur, and Kalpetta.

Appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Kerala on 02-05-2008.

Appointed as Permanent Judge of the High Court of Kerala with effect from
30-04-2010.
