at Calicut on 23-03-1951.
Educated in various schools in different Districts of Kerala, Maharajas
College, Ernakulam, Malabar Christian College, Calicut and Govt.
Law College, Calicut.
Enrolled as Advocate on 09-11-1975. Started Practice at the courts
in Calicut. Appointed as District & Sessions Judge directly
from the Bar on 01-08-1988. Served as Addl. District and Sessions
Judge, Prl. District and Sessions Judge and State Transport Appellate
Tribunal, Family Court at Ernakulam, Wayanad, Idukki, Thrissur and
Trivandrum District. Underwent training on “Gender and Law”
at University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K. in 1999 as nominated by
the Chief Justice, Supreme Court and as recommended by the Chief
Justice, High Court of Kerala.
Appointed as Permanent Judge, High Court of Kerala on 14-10-2004.
